Job Description for [Data Solutions] [Senior Data Specialist]
We manage, enrich and validate ownership links in our database, OBO (Ownership Back Office, mainly provided by ownership data feeds from Information Providers but also from manual encoding. To do this, we operate controls, client requests, matching processes.
On a weekly basis, we deliver an updated information on Shareholders, Subsidiaries, Beneficial Owners, Global Ultimate Owners, Soletrader, Funds, Branches, Foreign Companies, Vessels and Directors.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for maintaining, documenting, and improving databases that are made available online to subscribers, and for responding to and assisting clients with their data-related requests.
. Maintain company's historical databases that are available online to subscribers in a timely and accurate manner.
. Respond to client requests and inquiries.
. Assist and support internal and external clients in accessing our data.
. Improve existing processes and procedures to enhance the speed and accuracy of our updates.
. Expand existing data offering with additional economic or demographic statistics about a geography or area (indicators and new sources of data is also necessary.
. Provide top quality documentation, such as internal procedures and any information regarding the collection methods, definitions, and frequently asked questions for an economic or demographic statistic (indicator.
Required Background / skills
. Business fluent in English. Any additional languages are an advantage.
. Undergraduate or advanced degree with course work in economics, finance, statistics, or related fields preferred.
. 5-7 years of work experience in this sector or other related fields.
