We have different platform portfolios today where you will join the CRM Platform which is part of Platform Portfolio 1. CRM includes Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing teams.
Our solutions/applications are all mainly considered as internal applications but may be reused externally (for customers) with time. Our internal users like sales representatives, or customer service agents are based in multiple locations across the world. Our external users are globally represented.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Gather and understand functional and non-functional requirements for CRM support and development initiatives.
- Contribute to the creation of Salesforce coding standards and best practices for Maersk by participating in code reviews and solution validation processes, and documenting changes, logic, coding, and testing scenarios.
- Analyze incidents, requests, and problem tickets systematically. Identify and address performance bottlenecks efficiently.
- Provide support as necessary before and after implementation of solutions.
- Act as a point of escalation for support teams and product owners regarding system functionality issues.
- Work with support teams and vendors to enhance incident and problem management processes for improved system availability and user experience.
- Technical delivery of configured solutions using the industry standards and latest guidance
- Technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements within global Salesforce.com environments
- Manage and maintain coding standards and ensure code adheres to Maersk and Industry standards and are technically sound.
- Participate in all phases of development lifecycle (design, develop, delivery)
- Keep up to date on latest platform changes and champion to technical resources (via tech talks)
- Hands-on coding to collaborate on complex requirements.
- Maintain relevant documentation to describe logic, coding/configuration, testing and changes where applicable
- Participate in creating the Salesforce coding standards for Maersk
- Participate in creating best practices for Salesforce coding and configurations for Maersk
- Participate in the code reviews process
- Participate in the solution validation process
- Participate in developing interns and more junior talents within the team
We are looking for
- Minimum 3 years of technical experience with a focus on Salesforce Administration and Development.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification is mandatory.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II certification is highly desirable.
- Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant or Service Cloud Consultant certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, integration, and customization (Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, SOQL, SOSL, SFDC REST/SOAP API, WSDL, SOA, Force.com Migration Tool, LWC).
- Proficiency with Salesforce Sales, Service, or Marketing Clouds, preferably Sales or Service Cloud.
- Experience in implementing Sales or Service Cloud
- Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services, Postman and Curl.
- Experience with code repositories and deployment tools, CICD.
- Optional experience with Lightning components development.
- Familiarity with ITIL, AGILE and SCRUM methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in an international environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback.
