Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium and WebDriverIO for mobile and web applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into automated test cases
• Execute and analyze automated test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues
• Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability
• Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to automate testing processes
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on automation best practices

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 4-5 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on Appium, WebDriverIO, and JavaScript
• Strong proficiency in writing and maintaining automated test scripts using Appium and WebDriverIO
• Experience with test automation frameworks
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Protractor
• Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks such as XCUITest or Espresso
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as Sauce Labs or BrowserStack
