The ideal candidate will have deep front-end technical expertise, proven leadership experience, and a strong grasp of agile software development practices. This role involves team management, architecture decisions, and active hands-on coding.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Angular developers.
- Architect scalable and maintainable front-end applications using Angular (v10+).
- Guide the team in following coding standards, reviews, and best practices.
- Collaborate with backend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Identify and mitigate risks and blockers in development.
- Plan and estimate work items during sprint planning and backlog grooming.
- Review and approve technical designs and code changes.
- Drive performance optimization, security, and responsive design.
- Provide technical leadership in evaluating tools, frameworks, and libraries.
- Represent the team in client discussions and demos, when required.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 6 years in Angular and 3+ years in a team lead role.
- Expertise in Angular 10+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6+.
- Strong understanding of RxJS, NgRx or equivalent state management libraries.
- Exposure to micro frontend architecture.
- Familiar with REST APIs integration and backend communication.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
- Experience with Build tools like Angular CLI/Webpack /Gulp
- Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and frontend testing tools (Karma, Jasmine, Jest).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and performance tuning.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Prior experience in client-facing roles or offshore-onsite coordination.
