Manager, Infrastructure Operations

Location: Kolkata / Hyderabad, India Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days per week in office

About The Role

As the Manager, Infrastructure Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the deployment, operation, and auditing of Hyland's information systems infrastructure — delivering a reliable, secure, and trusted environment. You will lead a team of skilled professionals, driving security vulnerability remediation, automation strategies, and operational excellence while fostering collaboration across Cyber Security, Engineering, and Support teams. This is a leadership role for someone who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on people leader.

Your Role Responsibilities – Here's What You'll Do

  • Oversee and direct the security vulnerability remediation lifecycle across Hyland's infrastructure, ensuring timely assessment, prioritization, and execution of remediation activities across servers, endpoints, networks, and cloud platforms
  • Lead the development and implementation of automation strategies for vulnerability remediation, including patch deployment, configuration enforcement, and validation processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce security risk
  • Foster strategic partnerships with Cyber Security, Infrastructure Engineering, and Support teams to ensure coordinated vulnerability response, address recurring patterns, and prevent reintroduction of vulnerabilities
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Security Vulnerability Remediation Specialists, developing team expertise in systems administration, scripting and automation, and security remediation across Windows, Linux, cloud, and identity platforms
  • Manage vulnerability remediation queues, SLAs, and aging metrics; drive continuous improvement in operational documentation, tracking, and reporting processes to ensure team commitments are consistently met
  • Oversee all people management functions including hiring, performance management, compensation, and employee development; coach and develop team members while identifying and cultivating future leaders

Role Essentials – What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 12+ years of relevant experience
  • Superior leadership, sound judgment, and business acumen with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing technical teams
  • Proven experience overseeing infrastructure operations, security vulnerability remediation, and IT compliance programs
  • Superior problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Superior oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization with professionalism, discretion, and tact

What We'd Like to See – Preferred Skills

  • Experience developing and managing annual budgets and overseeing strategic planning for infrastructure projects and programs
  • Demonstrated experience managing vulnerability remediation queues, SLAs, and operational metrics
  • Experience with automation strategies for patch deployment, configuration enforcement, and validation processes
  • Superior knowledge of highly available enterprise-level network components and Microsoft operating systems and products
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members while identifying and cultivating future leaders within the organization
