- Implement and maintain the project QA/QC Management System in line with QMS requirements.
- Monitor and control all QA/QC activities at site through stage-wise inspection of construction works.
- Develop, review, and ensure implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), methods, and quality procedures.
- Ensure QA/QC testing of materials and workmanship as per approved ITPs and standards.
- Identify, maintain, and control quality records, checklists, test reports, and as-built documentation.
- Prepare and maintain the master list of testing and measuring equipment; ensure periodic calibration.
- Organize and participate in internal, external, and customer audits; coordinate with department heads for closure of observations.
- Control non-conformance reports (NCRs), implement corrective and preventive actions, and monitor closure.
- Coordinate with site construction manager on all quality-related issues and conduct regular Management Review Meetings.
- Chair and coordinate weekly QA/QC meetings with subcontractors QC personnel.
- Conduct training programs and toolbox talks for subcontractors and labour on quality requirements as per QMS.
- Coordinate and monitor quality inspections for subcontractors, vendors, and receipt inspections at site.
- Coordinate and witness Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and third-party inspections as required.
- Ensure compliance of site activities with applicable codes, standards, contract specifications, and drawings.
- Review customer specifications and provide technical guidance and training to site QC inspectors.
- Coordinate approval of QC technical submittals, method statements, and inspection requests with the client/consultant.
- Ensure timely compilation and completion of QA/QC documentation for final as-built and handover dossiers.
- Interpret and apply relevant codes and standards in Civil and Mechanical disciplines.
- Ensure all QA/QC documents at site are current, controlled, and properly distributed to concerned parties.
