- Supervise and execute all civil works at site, including foundations, equipment bases, access roads, drainage systems, control rooms, cable trenches, and other infrastructure works.
- Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and schedule commitments.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, QA/QC, and HSE teams for smooth integration of civil works with overall project execution.
- Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely progress of assigned work fronts.
- Communicate drawings, work methods, and site instructions effectively to the workforce.
- Inspect civil construction works such as excavation, concreting, reinforcement, masonry, road works, and trenching.
- Check materials like cement, steel, aggregates, and concrete for compliance with project specifications.
- Assist in field tests including soil compaction, concrete cube testing, and other material tests.
- Identify quality deviations and support corrective actions at site.
- Ensure strict compliance with site safety rules, HSE guidelines, and statutory requirements.
- Participate in safety inspections, toolbox talks, and audits to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure civil works comply with environmental and regulatory norms.
- Monitor progress of civil works against approved schedules and report daily activities to senior engineers or project managers.
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and assist in weekly/monthly reporting.
- Highlight site issues, delays, and material constraints affecting execution.
- Assist in monitoring material receipt, storage, and consumption at site.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of construction materials to minimize wastage.
- Support measurement of executed quantities and assist in billing documentation.
- Identify and resolve day-to-day civil engineering issues at site.
- Coordinate with design and planning teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and site constraints.
- Support timely completion of civil works to meet project milestones.
- Maintain site records, inspection checklists, test reports, and work completion documents.
- Assist in preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation.
- Bachelor’s / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–6 years of experience in civil works execution, preferably in solar / renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD drawings and site execution practices.
- Strong site coordination and communication skills.
- Understanding of construction quality and safety standards.
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts under site conditions.
