Project Manager-Liquid Cooling

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the design, execution, and commissioning of data center infrastructure, with a strong focus on liquid cooling systems and high-density deployments.
This role requires deep expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems along with modern cooling technologies such as direct-to-chip and immersion cooling.
Key Responsibilities
- MEP Project Execution
- Lead end-to-end execution of data center MEP systems:
- HVAC (CRAC/CRAH, chillers)
- Electrical systems (UPS, transformers, DG)
- Plumbing & fire protection
- Manage installation, testing, and commissioning (ITC)
- Cooling Systems Leadership
- Manage design & deployment of:
- Liquid cooling (Direct-to-Chip, Rear Door Heat Exchangers)
- Immersion cooling systems
- Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs)
- Ensure integration with traditional air cooling systems
- Optimize for high rack densities (30–100+ kW per rack)
- Design Coordination
- Work with consultants and design teams on:
- Load calculations & heat load analysis
- Piping & hydraulic design
- Electrical load and redundancy (N+1, 2N)
- Review drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
- Vendor & Contractor Management
- Manage MEP contractors, OEMs, and system integrators
- Coordinate with suppliers of:
- Chillers, pumps, CDUs
- Switchgear, UPS, busways
- Ensure adherence to timelines, quality, and safety
- Commissioning & Handover
- Lead:
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
- Ensure systems meet Tier standards (I–IV) and uptime requirements
- Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with:
- ASHRAE TC 9.9 guidelines
- Uptime Institute Tier Standards
- NFPA / local codes
- Maintain documentation and audit readiness
- Cost & Schedule Control
- Develop and track project schedules (MS Project / Primavera)
- Monitor CAPEX and OPEX for MEP systems
- Drive value engineering initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong experience in:
- Data center HVAC systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, cooling towers)
- Electrical infrastructure (UPS, DG, PDU)
- Liquid cooling technologies
- Understanding of:
- Heat transfer & thermodynamics
- High-density rack cooling challenges
- AutoCAD / Revit (MEP)
- CFD tools (ANSYS Fluent, 6SigmaDC)
- MS Project / Primavera
