Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager – Performance Polymers with a strong technical background to develop and grow performance polymers business across India.
This is a senior, hands‑on sales role with full responsibility for business development, key accounts, and strategic industry segments.
Key Responsibilities

Drive sales of performance / engineering polymers across India
-
Develop new business opportunities and manage key customer relationships
-
Actively work with customers in the following industries:
-
Automotive
-
Electrical & Electronics (E&E)
-
Medical devices / medical equipment
-
Other industrial and consumer applications
-

Support customers with material selection, substitution, and approval processes
-
Conduct technical and commercial discussions with OEMs, Tier‑1 / Tier‑2 suppliers, and converters
-
Coordinate closely with internal technical, logistics, and marketing teams
-
Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences, and customer events
-
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regular management reports

Report directly to the Head of Sales – India
Qualifications & Experience
-
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
-
7+ years of experience in sales of performance / engineering polymers
-
Strong understanding of the Indian polymers market
-
Proven track record in active B2B technical sales and business development
-
Deep application knowledge in automotive, electronics, E&E, or medical devices
-
Experience working with long material approval and qualification cycles
-
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
-
High level of independence; readiness for frequent travel across India
