Job Responsibilities :

Abide by Safer Maintenance Practices
To safely carry out Coke drum top and bottom cover Hot bolting, Opening and Box up activities as per Standard & Safe Maintenance Procedures as per Coke drum schedule.
To carry out maintenance of Coke drum top and bottom unheading system which Includes Motor Operated Valves, Hydraulic Systems.
To carry out Maintenance & troubleshooting of top and bottom unheading system, Coke Cutting System and inform Maintenance engineer.
To keep record of Coke Drum regular consumables and inform maintenance engineer for timely procurement action.
To provide tool box talk to contract workmen involved in top and bottom cover Heading & De Heading activities.
Maintenance of Coker equipment like Cranes, Crushers, Conveyor system and be able to do primary trouble shooting.
To carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of Coke drum area valves & Gear Box.
To Inspect Insulation condition of Coke drums, Inspection of Piping, Piping Supports, Coke drum area Structures and Report the Healthiness of same to Maintenance engineer.
To ensure Housekeeping of Coke drum Area.
To ensure certification and healthiness of tools and tackles used by Contractor.
To monitor testing of EOTs and Hoists in Coke drum area.
Maintain shift logbook for activities carried out during each shift to Ensure Better Handing Over & Taking Over.
Maintain emergency tool box for catering to urgent jobs in other plants during silent hours.
To assist maintenance engineer during non-routine activities in Coke drum area.
To carry out maintenance activity in plant equipment during shutdown as per instructions of maintenance Engineer.
To understand plant process overview, mainly coke drum operation cycle.
Suggest safety improvements
Report promptly any abnormal observations to Maintenance Engineer
Identify and suggest opportunities for improvement in Routine Maintenance Practices.
Follow instructions received from Maintenance Engineer
Familiarize with compliance to all legal requirements & Reliance Safety Procedures.

Education Requirement :

I.T.I. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience Requirement :

I.T.I. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
