Job Summary:**

This entry-level position supports manufacturing quality assurance activities, ensuring product quality and compliance with established standards and specifications within Hitachi, Ltd.'s production environment.

Job Responsibilities:**

  • Perform In-process Quality Inspections of winding, core assembly, core-coil assembly, tanking of Power Transformer & Recators upto 765kV class as per Hitachi Quality Inspection cards.
  • Document inspection results, identify non-conformances, and escalate issues to senior quality personnel.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures and documentation.
  • Participate in the investigation of quality issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with production teams to promote quality awareness and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collect and organize quality data for reporting and analysis.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies.

Job Qualifications:**

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 01 to 02 years experience in Power Transformer or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 04 to 05 years experience in Power Transformer.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
  • Proficiency in using basic measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Hindi.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
