IT Support Engineer

We are looking for an IT Support / Desktop Support Engineer responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining IT systems within the organization. The candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and basic networking knowledge to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
  • Provide technical support to employees for Windows, email, internet, and application-related problems.
  • Manage user accounts, passwords, and system access.
  • Install and update operating systems, antivirus software, and applications.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Handle basic networking tasks such as LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity and IP configuration.
  • Maintain IT inventory and documentation of systems and assets.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
  • Ensure data backup and system security compliance.

Required Skills

  • Good knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and system maintenance.
  • Familiarity with printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and remote desktop support.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
