Job Description
Ares is looking for an Analyst to join the Mumbai Real Estate Data Operations Team. The Data Operations team work closely with teams across the Real Estate business as well as various corporate functions and external stakeholders. The Analyst will be part of a team reporting up to the Real Estate Co-Head of Data & Analytics, based on London and supporting the businesses ambitions digital transformation strategy, involving implementation of new systems, data warehouse, and process improvement and workflows. This role is ideal for candidates starting their career who are eager to learn, work with data, and build strong fundamentals in real estate operations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual with an eye for detail and a positive and tenacious attitude. The successful candidate should be process driven and have experience of data collection and management and be comfortable working with multiple systems. The role requires a dynamic, adaptive, professional who is comfortable building relations and working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practices in a fast-paced rapidly growing environment.
Primary functions and essential responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Data Operations
- Collect key operational and financial data from internal teams and external partners within deadlines with guidance from senior team members.
- Ingest and maintain data in systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform basic checks for missing or incorrect information.
- Follow up with data providers to resolve errors or incomplete data with support from the team.
- Escalate any delays or issues to the relevant team members.
- Review uploaded data and fix issues where possible.
- Work closely with stakeholders to maintain good data quality.
- Follow standard workflows for data review and approvals.
- Build good working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Understand and follow best practices in data quality and governance.
Systems & Processes
- Learn and use business systems effectively in day-to-day work.
- Assist in tracking data quality using simple reports and dashboards.
- Identify missing or incorrect data and coordinate with teams to correct it.
- Support basic system-related tasks and user queries.
- Assist in implementing new systems and processes (including testing and rollout).
- Complete recurring tasks accurately and within timelines.
- Share ideas to improve processes and improve data as you gain experience.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Finance, Surveying or other business-related discipline preferred
