Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester with both manual and automation testing skills to join our growing quality assurance team. As a Software Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and automation techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual testing and automation frameworks, combined with a passion for problem-solving and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manual Testing:
- Write and execute detailed test cases for functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, report, and track bugs and issues in a bug-tracking tool (e.g., JIRA).
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and design test scenarios.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and hidden defects.
- Automation Testing:
- Assist in the development and execution of automated test scripts for regression and functional tests using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
- Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with development teams to understand project requirements and contribute to test planning.
- Communicate test results clearly and concisely to developers and stakeholders.
- Contribute to improving testing processes and best practices.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation (e.g., test cases, test plans, and reports).
- Track test progress and outcomes to ensure timely completion of testing cycles.

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
- Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or TestNG is a plus.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques (test case design, execution, and defect reporting).
- Basic programming/scripting knowledge (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) for automation testing.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Good understanding of web and mobile application testing principles.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git is a plus.
