Roles and Responsibilities

Execute functional testing of Inverters, medium voltage variable frequency Drives and battery energy storage products, and related Power Conversion / Energy Storage / Electrification products.

Ensure 100% compliance with technical, functional, and quality requirements for end products.

Troubleshoot technical issues with Inverters and power stations using deep product knowledge and expertise.

Identify opportunities to improve product quality and develop cost-effective testing solutions.

Drive excellence in manufacturing testing, ensuring zero defects in tested products.

Ensure testing equipment and systems are calibrated and maintained for optimal performance.

Prepare detailed test reports based on standard engineering report templates.

Communicate test requirements and collaborate with Engineering for continuous improvements.

Manage Customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and align test processes with IEEE and UL standards.

Ensure all testing processes contribute to a safe work environment and comply with EHS standards.

Develop and implement test plans for Inverters and electrical components.

Maintain testing rigs at full operational capacity and document lessons learned for future product designs.

Participate in early product development stages to enhance manufacturability and prevent test failures.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronics Engineering from an accredited university or college.

5+ years of experience in inverter testing or related electrical component testing; fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge may also be considered.

Strong understanding of inverter manufacturing processes, with exposure to quality assurance, engineering, and lean manufacturing principles.

Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues and implementing effective solutions.

Familiarity with IEEE and UL standards, and experience with testing electrical components.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to resolving issues.

Effective communication skills for writing test procedures and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

English language proficiency in both reading and writing.
