Location: Nashik, Maharashtra
- Protection Testing & Commissioning
- Perform testing and commissioning of protection schemes including:
- Distance Protection / Advanced Distance Protection
- Line Differential Protection (if applicable)
- Transformer, Busbar, and Feeder Protection schemes
- Conduct primary and secondary injection testing of protection relays.
- Verify protection logic, interlocks, and scheme functionality.
- Relay Handling & Programming
- Configure, program, and troubleshoot protection relays from leading OEMs:
- Siemens
- ABB
- GE
- SEL
- Modify relay settings and logic based on system requirements.
- Ensure proper relay coordination and settings compliance with grid standards.
- GOOSE Messaging & IEC 61850
- Configure and validate GOOSE signaling schemes.
- Test inter-relay communication and ensure proper functioning of IEC 61850-based systems.
- Diagnose communication and networking issues within digital substations.
- Fault Analysis & RCA
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of protection system failures and disturbances.
- Analyse fault records, event logs, disturbance records, and relay data.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Troubleshooting
- Identify and rectify issues in protection schemes and control circuits.
- Ensure minimum downtime through effective fault diagnosis.
- Support site teams during breakdowns and emergency situations.
