TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product portfolio, from strategy and innovation through commercialization and lifecycle management. They are responsible for driving profitable growth through product strategy, portfolio management, customer engagement, and cross-functional execution.
The India Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the Connected Living Solutions (CLS) growth strategy for India. This role will serve as a key leader within the Grow-in-India initiative, partnering closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Strategy, and Product Management teams to accelerate growth through portfolio expansion, localization, new product introduction, and market share gain initiatives.
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities to identify growth opportunities, develop business cases, and drive cross-functional alignment to deliver business results.
- Develop and communicate the India Portfolio Business Plan.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
- Build and maintain the India product roadmap.
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend growth actions.
Localization & Market Development
- Lead localization initiatives to improve competitiveness and customer relevance.
- Develop business cases for localized products and sourcing strategies.
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to execute localization opportunities.
- Support India-for-India innovation initiatives.
New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Identify unmet customer needs and growth opportunities.
- Define product requirements and support new product development.
- Drive NPI projects from concept through commercialization.
- Monitor NPI pipeline performance.
Market Share Gain & Customer Engagement
- Drive competitive displacement and market share growth initiatives.
- Partner with Sales and Channel teams to convert growth opportunities.
- Build relationships with key customers and distributors.
- Support customer visits, workshops, and growth planning activities.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Strategy.
- Develop business cases and investment recommendations.
- Drive disciplined execution of growth initiatives.
- Present strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Strategy, or related commercial leadership roles.
- Experience developing and executing product portfolio strategies and growth initiatives.
- Strong business acumen and ability to build business cases.
- Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed organizations.
- Strong customer engagement, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with product localization and regional growth strategies.
- Experience driving NPI and commercialization initiatives.
- Knowledge of the India market, customer landscape, and channel ecosystem.
- Experience working with global teams.
- MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
