Moustache is expanding its footprint with a premium hospitality property in Udaipur featuring 57 well-appointed rooms, a banquet facility, restaurant, swimming pool, and a highly professional workforce committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

We are seeking an experienced and organized Store Manager to oversee inventory, material management, procurement coordination, and store operations for the property while ensuring uninterrupted availability of operational supplies.

Position Summary

The Store Manager will be responsible for the efficient management of hotel stores and inventory, ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, tracking, and control of all materials required across departments including Housekeeping, Kitchen, Restaurant, Banquet, Engineering, Front Office, and Administration. The role requires strong coordination, cost control, inventory accuracy, and adherence to operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Store & Inventory Management

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of hotel stores, ensuring systematic storage and organization of inventory.
  • Maintain stock availability for operational requirements across all departments.
  • Ensure proper receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of goods as per approved procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages.

Material Receiving & Documentation

  • Verify all incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
  • Ensure quality and quantity checks for all received materials.
  • Maintain proper records of Goods Received Notes (GRN), stock registers, issue slips, and inventory reports.
  • Ensure proper labeling and categorization of materials.

Inventory Control & Audits

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks and reconciliation.
  • Monitor slow-moving, fast-moving, and non-moving inventory.
  • Minimize wastage, pilferage, and material losses through effective stock control systems.
  • Participate in periodic audits and ensure inventory accuracy.

Procurement Coordination

  • Coordinate with the Purchase team and vendors for timely procurement of operational supplies.
  • Raise indents and purchase requisitions based on consumption patterns and business requirements.
  • Ensure cost-effective inventory management while maintaining quality standards.

Departmental Coordination

  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Kitchen, Banquet, Restaurant, Engineering, and Administration teams to ensure smooth supply management.
  • Address urgent material requirements efficiently to avoid operational disruptions.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure safe storage practices and proper handling of materials.
  • Maintain hygiene and safety standards within store areas.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs and inventory management processes.

Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports.
  • Track stock consumption trends and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Maintain inventory records using ERP/PMS/Excel-based systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Hospitality Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Store Management within hospitality, hotels, restaurants, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
  • Familiarity with hotel inventory systems, ERP software, and MS Excel.
  • Good understanding of procurement and material management processes.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
