About the Role:
● The Manager will be responsible for driving end-to-end logistics, warehouse, and procurement operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, ensure compliance, and support business growth.
● The incumbent will report to the Vice President. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team, and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
● Organise and conduct Logistics & Warehouse Management workshops to enhance operational efficiency.
● Develop and implement a Transportation Management System (TMS) for PAN India distribution to reduce shipment costs and improve average TAT.
● Implement a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to optimise inventory levels, track replenishment, monitor slow-moving/non-moving stock, and maximise labour efficiency and space utilisation.
● Streamline outward logistics operations, minimise courier usage, and reduce ODA (Out-of-Delivery Area) shipments.
● Streamline supply chain and warehouse processes for seamless, end-to-end operations.
● Ensure safe disposal of service chemical waste across 30 branches in a phased manner.
● Drive SHE compliance (Safety, Health, Environment) and implement environmental sustainability initiatives.
● Achieve cost savings across procurement volumes through effective negotiation, supplier collaboration, and process optimisation.
● Lead the vendor due diligence process to mitigate operational and supply chain risks.
● Design and implement a vendor engagement program to strengthen partnerships and drive performance improvements. ● Collaborate with marketing and sales teams for new product development initiatives.
● Digitalise warranty handling to enhance visibility into product defects and quality issues.
● Drive and support 3rd party inspection projects to ensure quality and compliance.
