Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Own Delivery — Lead End-to-End Execution
→ Take full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of all active projects within the Delivery Unit, ensuring they are completed on schedule, in full scope, and meet all agreed-upon quality standards.
→ Oversee execution through well-structured Agile ceremonies, milestone assessments, and risk escalation procedures; guarantee there are no unexpected client escalations.
→ Ensure SLA compliance for all client commitments; establish and monitor delivery KPIs such as on-time delivery rates, defect rates, and client satisfaction metrics.
→ Promote a zero-defect delivery standard across all technical outputs, documentation, and dashboards; ensure all escalations are resolved to complete client satisfaction.
→ Serve as the final authority and escalation point within the Delivery Unit for all critical delivery issues.
2. Protect Margins & P&L — Manage DU Financial Performance
→ Take ownership of the Delivery Unit’s P&L: safeguard sold margins, monitor resource utilization, and drive cost efficiencies across all projects.
→ Maintain proactive oversight of margin health by identifying risks early and implementing mitigation strategies to preserve profitability.
→ Exercise financial stewardship by optimizing team allocation, minimizing bench time, and managing vendor expenses diligently.
→ Collaborate closely with Finance on workforce cost reporting and tracking headcount against plans.
3. Drive Growth & Innovation — Expand the Commercial Footprint
→ Lead or support RFP responses and effort estimations for new opportunities within the scope of the Delivery Unit.
→ Continuously enhance delivery methodologies, tools, and processes to shorten time-to-market and accelerate delivery velocity without sacrificing quality.
→ Advocate for AI-native delivery practices by identifying and implementing automation throughout delivery workflows to boost efficiency and output quality.
→ Provide market and client insights to Product and Technology teams to help shape the FanOS product roadmap.
4. Align Stakeholders — Connect Clients, Sales, Product & Tech
→ Act as the primary delivery liaison for clients, managing senior-level relationships and resolving escalations.
→ Serve as the bridge among Sales, Product, Tech, and internal Delivery teams to translate business objectives into actionable plans.
→ Ensure all stakeholders receive relevant, forward-looking delivery reports that support decision-making rather than merely reflecting outcomes.
→ Represent the Delivery function in cross-functional leadership forums and contribute to company-wide delivery standards and governance.
5. Build & Scale Teams — Foster a High-Performance Delivery Culture
→ Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-achieving team of delivery and technology professionals.
→ Cultivate a culture of accountability, quality, and ownership within the Delivery Unit; exemplify the SI Way of Working in all interactions and decisions.
→ Take responsibility for client satisfaction and retention within the Delivery Unit; monitor NPS and CSAT trends and implement structured improvement plans where necessary.
→ Define clear SLAs and performance expectations for the team, and rigorously coach and manage performance.
→ Develop a strong pipeline of delivery talent, prioritizing succession planning and skills development.
Background and Experience:
→ 12–18 years of experience in technology delivery, including at least 4–5 years in a senior delivery leadership role with P&L accountability.
→ Proven success in owning and delivering complex, multi-workstream digital products for large enterprise or global clients, ensuring timely, quality delivery within commercial constraints.
→ Demonstrated expertise in managing delivery P&L, protecting sold margins, and optimizing resource utilization at the Delivery Unit level.
→ Deep knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and governance frameworks.
→ Experience in leading and scaling high-performing teams.
→ Proficient with delivery and project management tools such as Jira, ZOHO, or their equivalents.
→ Prior experience with technology product companies, SaaS platforms, or private equity-backed scaling businesses is highly desirable.
→ Experience in sports, media, or fan engagement sectors is a significant advantage but not mandatory.
