Responsibilities:
- Work with Liquid Phase (LPOC) and Vapor Phase Odor Control (VPOC) system design and engineering.
- To clearly identify and interpret technical specifications on customer needs and assist in development of accurate and cost-effective technical proposals.
- Preparation of Process and Equipment sizing calculations for VPOC/LPOC products.
- Develop technical proposals, including process descriptions, scope of work, equipment list, performance guarantees, clarifications and exceptions to the specifications, and system pricing.
- Prepare and send RFQs to local and international vendors / suppliers for detailed cost estimation on proposals.
- Present proposed solutions to international teams and proposal handovers to project engineering teams, including preparation of presentation materials.
- Support and clarify project team and product managers on process engineering calculations, equipment sizing and other relevant calculations.
Academic and Professional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering from reputed institute.
- Minimum 3-7 years related experience in the process design/sizing, proposal and costing of medium to large-sized Odor Control Systems.
- Knowledge in Autodesk 2D/3D design tools will be a plus or wiling to learn.
- Sizing of Odor Control Systems – Chemical, Biological and Carbon Adsorbers
- Knowledge on Chlorine scrubbers (emergency vapor scrubbing systems).
- Conversant in duct sizing and pressure drop calculations.
- Knowledge on Material selection for vessels, pumps and other bought out items.
- Experience on bid specifications review and preparing highlighted drawings (added advantage).
- Knowledge on preparation of Operation and control philosophy documents.
- Capable of supporting multiple projects at a time and meet project schedules.
- Experience in developing/understanding of process flow diagram and Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID’s), plant layout drawings, civil/equipment 2D/3D drawings.
- Knowledge on selection of all types of electromechanical equipment, instruments, and process control requirement.
- Positive team and client-focused attitude directed towards delivering quality work on time and within budget.
- Exposure to MS Office package for preparing necessary documents, excel files and PPT’s will be an advantage.
- Experience in working with international teams towards engineering design will be an advantage.
- Good communication skills to liaise with international teams; Extra miler / self-driven to meet the commitments / goals. Be analytical and problem solving.
