Biomedical Engineer

Sarvodaya Healthcare

Install, inspect, test, and commission medical equipment and devices.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical equipment.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment servicing, AMC/CMC management, and repairs.
Ensure timely calibration and validation of medical equipment as per NABH and regulatory requirements.
Maintain equipment inventory, service records, breakdown logs, and maintenance schedules.
Monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime through proactive maintenance.
Provide technical support and training to clinical and nursing staff on equipment usage and safety.
Conduct equipment safety checks and ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards.
Assist in equipment procurement, technical evaluation, and acceptance testing.
Participate in NABH audits, quality initiatives, and departmental inspections
Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Understanding of NABH standards and healthcare regulations.
Vendor management and technical documentation.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management systems
2–5 years of experience in biomedical engineering, preferably in a multi-specialty hospital/Corporate Hospital.
