Job Description

The Operational Auditor will be responsible for auditing and improving operational processes across Loom Solar’s sales, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, service, procurement, and dealer operations. The role focuses on process efficiency, SOP compliance, cost control, risk management, and operational excellence.

The candidate should have strong analytical skills, operational understanding, process audit experience, and the ability to identify inefficiencies and leakages in business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Process Audit
  • Audit day-to-day operational activities across departments
  • Verify compliance with SOPs and company policies
  • Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and process leakages
  • Recommend corrective and preventive actions
  • Warehouse & Inventory Audit
  • Conduct warehouse operational audits
  • Verify inventory movement and stock handling processes
  • Monitor stock accuracy, ageing, and material losses
  • Audit inward, outward, loading, unloading, and dispatch systems
  • Sales & Dealer Operations Audit
  • Audit dealer onboarding and documentation process
  • Review sales order processing and dispatch coordination
  • Verify dealer claims, schemes, and approval systems
  • Check adherence to credit and payment policies
  • Manufacturing & Production Audit
  • Audit production planning and material utilization
  • Monitor process losses and wastage control
  • Ensure compliance with production SOPs and quality standards
  • Identify opportunities for productivity improvement
  • Logistics & Service Audit
  • Audit logistics costs, delivery timelines, and transporter processes
  • Review installation and service response systems
  • Monitor complaint handling and service closure efficiency
  • Ensure proper documentation and customer communication
  • Compliance & Risk Control
  • Identify operational risks and control weaknesses
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and approval matrix
  • Support fraud prevention and investigation activities
  • Monitor implementation of audit recommendations
  • Reporting & Improvement
  • Prepare operational audit reports and MIS
  • Present audit findings with actionable recommendations
  • Track closure of audit observations
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of operational processes
  • Knowledge of warehouse, logistics, and manufacturing operations
  • Process auditing and SOP compliance expertise
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills
  • Attention to detail and field execution capability
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams

Educational Qualification

  • B.Com / BBA / MBA Operations / MBA Finance
  • Engineering background preferred for factory audits
  • Certifications in Audit, Operations, or Lean Process preferred
