Role - Senior Manager - Buying

Experience - 6 - 9 Years

Category - Footwear

You will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the buying operations within the organisation. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic decision-making, supplier relations, inventory management, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Own complete P&L of Market Place business for the footwear category/sub-category, driving GMV, revenue growth, margins, and profitability.
  • Build and execute seasonal business plans aligned with company growth targets.
  • Build a seasonal assortment for the brands & track the progress.
  • Drive joint business planning (JBP) with key partners.
  • Vendor management & relationship building.
  • Collaborate with the design team on design creations.
  • Inventory planning and demand forecasting
  • Translate consumer insights into actionable category moves.

Analytical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, forecasting models, data analysis) for business insights.
  • Developed dashboards to track key metrics and enable faster decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving using data.
  • Identify demand gaps, improve conversion and discoverability, & Optimize assortment, pricing, and promotions.
