Head of Sales / Support

We are looking for a senior leader who can own Sales, Partnerships, CRM, Business Development, and Revenue Teams end-to-end. This role will be responsible for building scalable growth systems, managing people, creating strategic alliances, and driving closures across defence, enterprise, institutional, and international markets.


This is a leadership role requiring strong execution, ownership mindset, and ability to manage multiple verticals simultaneously.


1. Strategic Sales & Growth Leadership

Develop and execute the company’s sales and growth strategy to achieve aggressive revenue, market expansion, and customer acquisition goals.

Build a strong GTM engine across government, defense, institutional, and enterprise segments.

Identify new growth opportunities, strategic markets, and high-value accounts across India.

Drive closures across B2G, B2B, Defence, Enterprise, and Exports.

Build monthly, quarterly, annual pipeline.

Improve collections and payment cycles.

2. Partnerships & Alliances

Build partnerships with OEMs, resellers, universities, defence ecosystem players, industrial groups, and global companies.

Negotiate commercial tie-ups, channel agreements, strategic collaborations.

Expand company reach through partnerships.

Manage GeM, tenders, RFPs, procurement opportunities, and vendor registrations.

Build relationships with Army units, CAPFs, police departments, PSUs, and ministries.

Understand procurement cycles and drive closure timelines.

Build channel sales network across key Indian states.

Explore export opportunities and global resellers.

3. CRM & Growth Systems

Own CRM structure, hygiene, lead funnel, reporting, automation, dashboards.

Improve lead response time, conversion rate, customer journey.

Implement SOPs for sales process and follow-up systems.

Drive business growth in government, defense, paramilitary, police, homeland security, and institutional segments.

Improve sales efficiency through process discipline, structured reviews, and data-driven decision-making.

4. Business Development

Open new markets, geographies, sectors, and channels.

Identify tenders, procurement opportunities, enterprise demand.

Generate high-value inbound and outbound opportunities.

Manage the full sales cycle for strategic accounts, from lead generation to negotiation and closure.

Build strong working relationships with procurement teams, defense stakeholders, and key decision-makers.

Create new business opportunities through alliances, industry relationships, and strategic market engagement.

Represent insideFPV in meetings, events, exhibitions, and partnership discussions across India or abroad.

5. Bidding, Tender and Gem

Own and manage the complete bidding lifecycle for government and institutional tenders.

Lead submissions across GEM portals, RFPs, RFQs, and tender-based procurement opportunities.

Coordinate internally across technical, finance, compliance, and operations teams to ensure timely and strong bid submissions.

6. Sales Operations

Implement CRM discipline, pipeline reviews, conversion tracking, and reporting.

Build SOPs for lead generation, follow-ups, proposals, demos, and negotiations.

Lead pricing strategy, proposal creation, and commercial discussions.

7. Team Leadership

Lead, manage, and scale the Sales, CRM, BD, Partnerships, and related teams.

Set clear targets, KPIs, reporting systems, and review mechanisms for the team.

Build a high-performance culture with strong ownership, follow-up discipline, and execution focus.

Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team, fostering a results-driven culture.

8. PAN India Demos & Market Activation

Plan and execute drone demonstrations, customer trials, presentations, and industry events across India.

Work closely with technical and operations teams to ensure successful product demos and client engagement.

Convert field activity into strong pipeline movement and commercial closure.

9. Market Analysis

Track market trends, procurement patterns, competitor activity, and customer feedback.

Continuously refine the sales approach, pricing strategy, positioning, and demand-generation efforts based on market inputs.

What We're Looking For:


5+ years of dedicated experience in the drone industry is essential.

Proven success in leading and managing sales teams.

Extensive experience with bidding, especially on GEM portals.

Mandatory experience in defense sales and government procurement.

Demonstrated ability to conduct effective drone demos across PAN India.

Proficiency in CRM software.

Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

A results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, founder-led environment.
