We offer advice and develop innovative solutions to challenging problems that come up all around the world. Description
Apple’s H2R Compensation Services Team is seeking a Global Payroll Specialist skilled at providing the highest quality support to our business partners, 3rd party vendors and employees in a highly dynamic fast paced environment. The Payroll Specialist will be working with internal and external partners to ensure proper payments to 3rd party vendors and regulatory agencies. We’re looking for an individual who’s innovative, driven, collaborative and trustworthy; someone that is flexible, manages change, and thoroughly understand processes across functional groups.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the payment life cycle from auditing the accuracy of the invoice/payments, submitting the payment on time , confirming payment successful/received and addressing questions or errors with payments as needed.
  • Submit daily, routine and ad hoc payroll benefits, pension and tax payments on behalf of the business and in compliance to Apple policy and procedure.
  • Review and analyze various vendor reports to determine necessary updates required and/or work directly with vendors to ensure records are updated accordingly.
  • Design and develop processes that improve accuracy and efficiency and meet the needs of benefits, payroll operations, management and regulatory agencies.
  • Some of the key responsibilities include:
  • Administer all invoice / payment advice processing, submissions, approval and payment workflows ensuring adherence to Apple Finance policy and Regulatory Agency policy.
  • Reconcile/ Audits totals between invoices, vendor detail reports and payroll system reports by department, location, country, wage type, etc.
  • Provide support, documentation and training to business on the Hire to Retire vendor payment process and reconciliations.
  • Organize meetings with cross functional teams to review current processes and resolve payment or delays as needed.
  • Performs other payroll processing duties and special projects as directed
  • Closely monitor and review payment rejections.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5 years experience in Payroll, Accounting or Finance working across multiple services.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Technical aptitude with database management and analysis and/or AI tools
  • Knowledge of Vendor Payment process end to end process
  • Understanding of benefits and payroll administration, processes and tools

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal with strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at all levels. Ability to identify key stakeholders and successfully influence.
