We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts professional to lead critical financial operations, accounting controls, export-import finance activities, taxation, compliance, and commercial finance functions within a manufacturing-oriented business environment. This role requires a strong understanding of financial governance, statutory compliance, working capital management, and business finance processes, along with the ability to collaborate across banking institutions, auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, efficient cash flow management, and seamless execution of domestic and international financial transactions while supporting strategic business objectives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee export-import finance activities, including documentation, banking transactions, trade finance instruments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees, export incentives, GST refunds, and related commercial documentation.
  • Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for working capital requirements, funding arrangements, and banking operations.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
  • Lead account finalization activities and support statutory, internal, tax, and cost audits.
  • Ensure compliance with direct and indirect taxation requirements, including GST filings, assessments, notices, and regulatory submissions.
  • Monitor receivables, debtor ageing, customer reconciliations, and collection processes to strengthen cash flow management.
  • Maintain fixed asset records, support budgeting and costing exercises, and contribute to project accounting initiatives.
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, and corporate governance teams to ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive ERP utilization, process improvements, and financial control initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with auditors, consultants, government authorities, and external stakeholders for compliance and reporting requirements.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • CA or MBA Finance with 8–16 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably within the Engineering or Manufacturing sector.
  • Strong expertise in Export-Import Finance, trade documentation, banking operations, and working capital management.
  • Proven experience in MIS reporting, financial analysis, and finalization of accounts.
  • Sound knowledge of GST, taxation, statutory compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, financial controls, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, costing, treasury operations, and commercial finance functions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Ability to work effectively with auditors, banks, consultants, government authorities, and cross-functional business teams.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to driving financial excellence and compliance.
