Job Description

WebCodeGenie Technology Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an android application developer with hands-on experience in developing, testing, and maintaining android applications using Kotlin. You will build, design, and ship new features in android applications.

Qualification

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in android application development.

Job Requirement

Strong knowledge of Kotlin.

Experience using AI-powered tools and cloud platforms to enhance application development, performance, and user experience.

Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.

Experience with REST APIs and JSON parsing.

Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

Basic understanding of mobile app architecture patterns (MVC,MVVM).

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., Retrofit, Glide).

Familiarity with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Push Notifications).

Experience with Coroutines for asynchronous programming, Room Database for local data persistence, and SharedPreferences for lightweight data storage in Android applications.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Debug and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Build REST APIs in Python (FastAPI / Flask).

Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.

Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and trends.
