Global Business Support Associate (PLM)

The Global Business Support Associate – PLM will support and continuously improve the HVPLM landscape based on PTC Windchill across global High Voltage Technology Centers and factories. The role focuses on PLM business administration, product and materials master data management, user support, process standardization, and global collaboration. Over time, the role will assume broader responsibility for PLM governance, standard & vendor parts management, and materials data strategy.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- PLM Business Administration & Governance, PLM business administration and access management, User and user group management, Support HVPLM strategy roadmap execution, Coordination with global business administrators
- Application Support & Operations, End-user support for Creo, AutoCAD, and Windchill, Troubleshooting CAD/PLM-related issues, Client application packaging, Support legacy data migration and loading
- Process Improvement & Customization, PLM process validation across HV businesses, Customization development for new and existing PLM processes, Standardization of local change management practices
- Knowledge, Training & Enablement End-user training for Creo and PLM, Knowledge management and documentation, Acting as subject matter expert and internal consultant
- Materials & Parts Data Management (Strategic Role), Global standard & vendor parts management, Materials master data governance, Portfolio control of standard/catalog parts, Contribution to global central standards team
- The role is expected to act as a subject matter expert on PLM and CAD tools, mentor colleagues by sharing best practices, and represent the HVPLM function in internal and external forums.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in CAD/CAM, Machine Design, or PLM-related disciplines.
- Must Have Skills Strong experience with PTC Creo, Hands-on experience with PTC Windchill (PLM), Understanding of international engineering standards (ISO, EN, DIN, ANSI, JIS, GB)
- Good to Have Skills Model CHECK, TOOLKIT, Pro/PROGRAM; AutoCAD (basic to intermediate); Microsoft 365 tools; SharePoint, PowerApps; Azure DevOps; SAP or other ERP systems; Granta MI (basic to intermediate); Experience in materials data management and global standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a global environment
- Ability to work independently with high ownership and accountability
- Process-oriented mindset with continuous improvement focus
- Adaptability to agile and fast-evolving digital engineering environments
- This role offers a clear growth path toward global PLM governance, process ownership, and enterprise-level materials and standards management.
- Regular interaction with global technology centres, factories, IT teams, and external vendors.
