Senior Software Engineer - TIBCO & Node.js

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in TIBCO Middleware and Node.js development to support critical Business Platforms and Core Platforms initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in middleware integration, API development, production support, and legacy application maintenance within enterprise environments.

This role requires an individual who can effectively analyze and implement changes across existing TIBCO middleware systems while also contributing to Java Spring Boot legacy applications and modern Node.js API development. The candidate will play a key role in supporting business-critical integrations, production environments, and ongoing platform modernization initiatives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, enhance, and support existing TIBCO middleware applications and integration services.
• Perform impact analysis, troubleshooting, and implementation of middleware-related changes and enhancements.
• Support and maintain legacy Java Spring Boot applications and services.
• Design, develop, and maintain Node.js APIs and backend services for modern platform initiatives.
• Work closely with business, architecture, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Provide production support and lower-environment support for existing API integrations and middleware services.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, performance issues, and integration failures.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
• Ensure system stability, reliability, and performance across business-critical applications.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and infrastructure teams during deployments and release activities.
• Contribute to application modernization initiatives and API lifecycle management.
• Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge-sharing activities.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with TIBCO Middleware development, support, and integration.
• Experience working with TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW), EMS, or related TIBCO technologies.
• Strong expertise in integration analysis, middleware troubleshooting, and service orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot applications.
• Strong development experience in Node.js and REST API development.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise APIs.
• Strong understanding of API integration patterns and middleware architectures.
• Experience supporting production environments and critical business applications.
• Knowledge of application monitoring, debugging, and incident management processes.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
