What You’ll Be Doing:

Job Description:

This position is responsible for the creation and debugging Java test automation scripts. This person will strictly adhere to development patterns established by the testing automation architect. This person will utilize knowledge of Java to develop, document and execute test scripts in support of the service pack testing cycle.

This individual will work with minimal supervision; relying on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. The ability to work independently and think creativity is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Automation Test Scripts using JAVA-Selenium framework

• Execute the developed Test Suite using CI/CD tools like Jenkins/GitHub Actions regularly making sure close to 100% pass rate

• Evaluate Test results of automation script execution on a regular basis

• Isolate and analyze defects prior to escalating to software developers for resolution

• Fix test scripts/test data

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues.

• Contribute to the continuous advancement of engineering and quality processes

• Work in an Agile, globally dispersed team environment to develop automated testing solutions

• Document all defects and project issues; evaluate quality state and readiness

• Conduct presentations of the work via agile ceremonies and participate in technical knowledge sharing sessions

• Additional responsibilities as assigned or requested

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of Hands-on UI and API Automation experienc

• Strong hands-on experience in Core JAVA and Selenium WebDriver keyword driven framework

• Good understanding of TestNG and Maven build automation tools

• Proficiency in SQL for test data creation, maintenance

• Experience in Jenkins/GitHub, GitHub Actions (with YML knowledge) in creating and maintaining automation jobs

• Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, etc.).

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience and or understanding of other frameworks like Karate and or PlayWright with TypeScript

• Hands on experience with AI Driven testing, automation, prompt engineering

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
