Lead project Engineer shall be responsible for design, co-ordination, engineering, supervision, and interaction with vendors & contractors consistent with project execution philosophy.Participation to identify potential improvements to meet the Project objectives in terms of Design, execution methods and resources. .
Responsible for
- Preparation of Scope of Works and technical part of RFP packages
- Technical bid evaluation, recommendation for awards & vendor design review
- Preparation of Technical documents, evaluation and selection of technology, identify applicable codes & standards
- Manage interfaces & participate in design review workshops
- Follow up procurement and Supervise fabrication/ manufacturing, installation, testing & pre-comm.
- Review execution method statements / work procedures etc.
- Review relevant installation procedures & manuals
- Engineering Coordination : Lead and manage cross-disciplinary engineering efforts to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Vendor & Discipline Coordination : Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and consultants / contractors / vendors to maintain quality and consistency across deliverables.
- Issue Resolution : Proactively identify areas of concern and facilitate resolution through collaborative discussions with relevant stakeholders. Identify and escalate resource, infrastructure, or other issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
- Project Lifecycle Support : Provide engineering and project management support across all project phases—from conceptual studies to commissioning of production facilities.
- Interface Management : Manage interfaces across disciplines and stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration and communication.
- Document Review : Take full ownership of engineering and project documents/drawings. Ensure thorough review and incorporation of modifications suggested by the Projects Entity.
- Review & Implementation : Participate in project review meetings and drive the implementation of assigned action items.
- Planning & Monitoring : Participate in development of work plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables in line with project schedule.
- Budget preparation : Participate in preparation of Work Program and Budget for Production Facilities.
- Awareness & understanding of applicable Codes & Standards.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary team.
- Hands-on experience in at least two high-value projects involving coordination with multiple contractors, vendors, and consultants.
Education Requirement :
Graduate Engineer- Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Civil.
Experience Requirement :
6 - 9 years of experience in Oil & gas industry with at least one offshore project for fixed / floating structures
Skills & Competencies :
- The candidate shall have experience in design, fabrication, testing and installation.
- Should have exposure to working in multidisciplinary environment
- Familiar with applicable international codes and standards
- Hands on experience in industry standard software
