Provide Flow Assurance support in the form of performing simulations, calculations and technical reports for the management. Plan, schedule, conduct and/or provide valuable flow assurance inputs during field production throughout the field life.
- Maintaining Flow assurance aspects related to pipeline erosion, liquid loading and slugging, wax formation in pipelines; Provide inputs for Hydrate inhibitor optimization in gas wells.
- Perform various sensitivity studies, transient thermal & Hydraulic modelling simulation work in the support of the design and operation of offshore and on shore facilities and CBM including wells, pipelines, risers, pressure - boosting equipment in OLGA, PIPESIM and What-If scenarios and provide inputs to planning operational strategies.
- Perform single phase and transient simulations and provide results/reports for the same to Production team and conduct sensitivity studies.
- Work towards completion of Flow assurance KPI#s and provide progress of the same AND Troubleshooting of identified Flow assurance challenges.
- Resolve Engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, guidelines and standards.
- Support engineering activities during Detailed Engineering projects
- Production Software expertise: Model building and usage of OLGA, PIPESIM, Aspen plus, UOCC. Knowledge in Integrated Asset Modelling (PROSPER-MBALL-GAP), HYSYS is desirable.
Experience Requirement : 6 years of experience out of which 4 Years in Oil & Gas field operations
Skills & Competencies :
- Understanding of Onshore and Offshore (subsea) production system and well performance analysis and Familiar with well operation
- Single Phase and Multiphase flow analysis - Make presentations and reports
- Understanding of flow assurance issues and hydrate mitigation measures
- Hands on experience with process simulation software
- Knowledge of Flow assurance challenges in mature fields, Reservoir engineering and artificial lifts Systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable standards and guidelines
