Job brief

HubEngage, a fast-growing SaaS employee experience platform for communications and engagement is seeking a full-time android developer to join our diverse group at our Tech space in Pune, India. This person will directly work with Application Team. The ideal candidate will possess but not be limited to the following skills:

Required Skills:

• UI design principles, patterns, Best Practices & Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of android & able to deal with different screen sizes.
• Good knowledge of kotlin.
• Solid understanding of Android concepts like fragments, Services, Broadcast receiver, Work Manager, Google Cloud Messaging API, UI transitions, Firebase FCM, SQLite, Room, REST API integration.
• Must know MVP, MVVM architecture.
• Experience with third-party libraries like a retrofit, dagger, or any data-binding library, Glide.
• Must know Asynchronous programming like RxJava, kotlin coroutines, etc.
• Knowledge of deploying the app on the Play Store.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Good knowledge of Flutter app development. Show one app which is developed in a flutter.

Good to have:

• Expertise with CI/CD with testing and release automation.
• Knowledge about android jetpack navigation.
• Knowledge about video compression techniques or libraries in android.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Possess the equivalent of bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience working with software product base companies.
