Job summary: We are looking for a highly energetic Business Development Executive to drive lead generation and opportunity creation in Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) and wastewater treatment projects (MEE, ATFD, MVRE, ETP, STP).
Key Responsibilities:

The role demands market penetration, industrial prospecting, and relationship-building with pharma, chemical, dyes, and process industries. Key Responsibilities: Generate qualified leads through cold calls, visits, exhibitions, LinkedIn outreach, and referrals. Map new prospects in industrial zones, MIDCs, SEZs, and clusters. Initiate first-level conversations with decision-makers (EHS Heads, Project Managers, Utility Heads, Consultants). Understand project basics (effluent volume, COD/TDS, compliance deadlines, budgets). Track tenders, CETP expansions, NGT/MPCB directives, competitor activities. Build and update a sales funnel in CRM/ERP. Represent company at industry expos, conferences & forums. Skills & Competencies: Hunter mindset – aggressive prospector with high energy. Strong communication, networking & negotiation skills. Basic knowledge of ZLD/Wastewater technologies. Industrial networking & market intelligence. Willingness to travel 70% of the time. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): No. of qualified ZLD project leads per month. No. of first meetings/site visits scheduled. Value of potential ZLD pipeline created. Accuracy & conversion ratio of qualified leads handed to sales.
