Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and update curriculum frameworks aligned with national early childhood education standards.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate pre‑primary teaching staff, fostering professional growth and teamwork.
  • Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and term‑time activities, ensuring a balanced blend of play‑based learning, creative arts, language, mathematics, and physical development.
  • Monitor classroom environments for safety, hygiene, and accessibility; conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate child progress, address concerns, and organise parent‑teacher meetings and workshops.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones; prepare reports for senior management.
  • Coordinate admissions, orientation, and transition processes for new students entering the pre‑primary section.
  • Manage budgeting for instructional resources, learning materials, and classroom supplies.
  • Stay abreast of best practices, emerging research, and regulatory changes in early childhood education; introduce innovative teaching methods.
  • Lead initiatives for inclusive education, ensuring accommodations for children with diverse learning needs.


Essential Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or postgraduate diploma in Early Childhood Education, Pre‑Primary Education, or a related field.
  • Valid teaching license or certification recognized by Indian education authorities.
  • Strong knowledge of child development theories and curriculum design for ages 2‑6.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in English; additional competency in regional languages is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.


Desired Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in pre‑primary or kindergarten settings.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or coordination experience within an early childhood centre or school.
  • Demonstrated success in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Experience managing budgets and resources for early childhood programmes.
  • Familiarity with child safety regulations, health standards, and inclusive education practices.
