Senior Manager -Talent Acquisition
Laundryheap
About Us
Laundryheap is a fast-scaling, tech-enabled global scale-up with active talent acquisition operations spanning six markets and growing. We are delivering 30%+ year-on-year revenue growth and actively expanding into new markets. Our teams hire across technology, operations, commercial, and corporate functions. As we enter our next phase of growth, we need a world-class talent leader who can build a recruitment engine that is scalable, data-driven, and candidate-obsessed.
The Role
This is a high-impact, hands-on management position. As Senior Manager: Talent, you will be responsible for our global hiring strategy. You will lead and develop a lean talent acquisition team, partner closely with senior stakeholders across every market, and roll up your sleeves on priority roles. You will be the single point of accountability for talent quality, process excellence, and recruiter performance worldwide.
This is not a 'manage from distance' role. We want a builder who thrives in ambiguity, operates with urgency, and cares deeply about both the candidate and the hiring manager experience.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Global Hiring Strategy & Delivery
- Lead and coordinate hiring activities across our global markets, supporting both growth hiring and replacement roles across India, the UK, Singapore, Dubai, France, Slovenia, and any future locations.
- Work closely with the Head of HR and business leaders to maintain a clear hiring roadmap aligned with company priorities and objectives.
- Personally manage critical, senior, and business-critical hires, taking ownership of sourcing, screening, stakeholder management, and offer delivery.
- Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, offer acceptance rates, hiring velocity, and recruitment costs, helping us continuously improve our hiring effectiveness.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Build strong and trusted relationships with managers and leaders across the business.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand workforce needs and translate them into clear hiring plans and realistic recruitment timelines.
- Provide guidance on role design, levelling, and candidate expectations to help teams make informed hiring decisions.
- Share market insights, salary benchmarks, and talent trends to support workforce planning and hiring strategies.
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with external recruitment partners, search firms, and specialist consultants as and when required.
- Ensure partners deliver against agreed expectations, timelines, and quality standards.
- Help foster a team culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and a genuine focus on candidate experience
Process, Systems & Candidate Experience
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial role briefing through to offer management and pre-boarding, ensuring a consistent experience across all regions.
- Maintain high standards of ATS and recruitment system management, ensuring accurate reporting, pipeline visibility, and process compliance.
- Promote structured interviewing and fair assessment practices to support consistent and objective hiring decisions.
- Continuously review, improve, and document recruitment processes so that the function can scale effectively and operate efficiently.
- Ensure every candidate, whether regardless of outcome, has a professional, respectful, and positive experience that reflects our values and employer brand.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
- 6+ years of progressive in-house talent acquisition experience, with at least 2 years leading a TA function or team.

- Strong personal sourcing skills, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent mapping, and direct outreach are second nature.
- Experience managing and developing junior recruiter(s) and holding them accountable to delivery.
- Comfortable managing senior stakeholders up to C-suite; confident challenging a brief when it isn't right.
- Strong data literacy, you use metrics to diagnose problems and drive decisions, not just report on activity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Preferred
- Experience hiring across tech / product and commercial functions in a D2C or marketplace context.
- Prior experience using Workable or another ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, or similar); implementation experience a plus.

- A business growing 30%+ year-on-year with active expansion into new markets, this role scales with us.
