Role Overview

We are looking for a sharp, execution-oriented generalist to join the Founder's Office. This is a high-ownership role sitting at the intersection of business strategy and retail operations. You will be responsible for analysing store performance, identifying growth levers, designing interventions, and working closely with the Founder and leadership to drive revenue across our retail store network. The role involves regular travel to stores for on-ground understanding and execution oversight.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis of store performance — revenue trends, footfall, conversion, ticket size, and diagnostics — to identify underperforming stores, pinpoint the specific levers driving the gap, and build a structured framework for store scoring and benchmarking.
  • Develop and own revenue ramp-up strategies for existing stores; translate data findings into prioritised action plans covering customer segments, basket size, visit frequency, and category mix — and track execution rigorously against defined targets.
  • Define store-wise revenue targets and prioritise interventions across the network based on impact potential and ease of execution, ensuring effort is deployed where it moves the needle most.
  • Design and execute store-level marketing plans — local area marketing (LAM), in-store activations, campaigns, and promotions — in collaboration with the marketing team; monitor ROI and iterate based on outcomes.
  • Identify and pilot new growth levers across pricing, visibility, loyalty, and partnerships to unlock additional revenue at the store level.
  • Diagnose store-specific challenges and design targeted interventions — operational, staffing, layout, or marketing — and work with store teams to implement improvement plans with clear accountability on timelines and outcomes.
  • Build playbooks and SOPs for common store challenges so solutions can be standardised and scaled efficiently across the network.
  • Travel regularly to stores, observe operations firsthand, and build strong relationships with store managers and frontline teams — acting as the bridge between ground reality and strategic decisions at the leadership level.


Key Skills & Requirements

  • 3+ years of post-MBA work experience; prior exposure to retail, consumer, or FMCG sectors is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data tools; ability to build models and derive clear, actionable insights.
  • Structured problem solver — comfortable breaking down ambiguous problems into clear frameworks and execution plans.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to engage with store teams and manage cross functional stakeholders with equal ease.
  • Bias for action, strong ownership mindset, and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with minimal hand-holding.
  • Willingness to travel
