Mechanical Design Engineer

- Lead the mechanical design and development of electro?optical and electro?mechanical systems.
- Create and review 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, GA layouts, and assembly documentation.
- Design precision housings, mounts, and enclosures for optical and electronic components.
- Develop thermal management solutions and ensure environmental sealing (IP/MIL standards).
- Collaborate with cross?functional teams (optics, electronics, manufacturing, SCM, vendors).
- Prepare work instructions, BOMs, and PLM documentation.
- Support prototype builds, testing, and validation in thermal chambers and environmental labs.
- Ensure compliance with military/defense standards for durability, reliability, and safety

- Experience in electro?optical assemblies (lenses, sensors, housings).
- Knowledge of materials for military applications (aluminum alloys, composites, sealing gaskets).
- Ability to work under tight schedules and deliver in fast?track development environments.
- Strong team spirit and leadership qualities.
