The Software Engineer I is responsible for designing, implementing, and operating data and integration platforms, incorporating AI/ML capabilities for intelligent automation, anomaly detection, and predictive insights, while also providing day-to-day technical and operational support.

This position reports to the Staff Engineer and is part of the Global IT Data& AI team ,located in Bangalore and will be an on-site role to cover

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Drive Hands-on Engineering & Solution Implementation
  • Design, build, and operate Azure-based solutions with strong focus on security, scalability, reliability, and cost awareness.
  • Develop and optimize SQL-based data solutions, including queries, transformations, and performance tuning for operational and analytical workloads.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to enable reliable, repeatable deployments across environments.
  • Work with end to end solutions from data orchestration to building reports.
• Engage directly with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements, manage expectations, and communicate progress and trade-offs clearly. Build trust through transparent communication and reliable delivery.
• Create and maintain high-quality documentation including architecture notes, pipeline designs, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks. Contribute to engineering standards and reusable patterns to improve consistency and supportability across teams.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor or equivalent degree with 1+ years of experience
• Proven hands-on experience in any writing codes in any languages. Strong on SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with datawarehouse and governance practices.
• Nice to have experience in Power BI or familiarity AI/ML model integration into applications
