Primary Responsibilities:

• Designing and building scalable data pipelines (batch & streaming)
• Data ingestion from heterogeneous sources (DBs, APIs, files, streams)
• Data transformation, cleansing, enrichment, and validation
• Designing dimensional models (Star, Snowflake, Data Vault)
• Writing efficient and reusable code with best practices
• Managing schema evolution and partition strategies
• Define data models, schemas, and storage strategies
• Usage of AI tools like Github Copilot, M365

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Solid hands on experience with ETL / ELT frameworks
• Knowledge of Azure: ADLS, Synapse, ADF, Databricks
• Knowledge of Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala)
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow / AWS Glue / Azure Data Factory
• Knowledge of Kafka / Kinesis / Pub Sub (streaming)
• Knowledge of DBT (for transformations)
• Knowledge of Python (primary): data processing, automation, APIs
• Knowledge of SQL (Advanced): window functions, optimizations, complex joins
• Working knowledge of Scala / Java
• Usage of AI tools like Github Copilot, M365
