Job Purpose
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for managing and optimizing logistics operations within the plant, focusing on the efficient movement and storage of materials, components. This role involves coordinating with production, procurement, and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and accurate inventory management. Lead line feeding activity and ensure timely material on line for smooth production.
Key Responsibilities
Fab Shop –
Lead line feeding activity for 7 lines & nesting
Monitor Laser Cutting & Bending Cell - Raw material issuance & material handover. Reconciliation of raw material.
Monitor inbound transportation – Vehicle deployment & material pick-up for Ex-Works supplier, Job Work materials etc
Store operations of fabrication shop.
Monitor empty returnable management.
Assy Shop –
Lead line feeding activity for 7 product lines & upcoming lines. Closely monitor operations, ensure adherence of feeding strategies.
Analyze loss data and do necessary changes to improve feeding efficiency.
Store operations of Assy shop.
Material gate operation, GRN & tax document handling & on-time submission to finance.
All system documentation (Job Work, Sale Invoicing etc) transaction monitoring.
Scrap yard management and ensure regular clearance of scraps with proper documentation.
Experience Required
At least 15-20 years of experience in plant logistics, inventory management & supply chain operations.
Preferably from automobile/agriculture/construction equipment background, ERP exposure & proficiency is must.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience to handle large team (over 100 people)
