We are seeking an experienced Thermo Scientific Sample Manager LIMS Consultant to provide ongoing support, configuration and enhancement for Thermo Scientific Sample Manager LIMS, ensuring uninterrupted lab operations post-vendor transition.

Responsibilities

• Deliver L2/L3 application support activities, including incident, problem and change management within ITIL-aligned service models
• Perform day-to-day administration and support for SaaS (Cloud managed by Thermo Scientific) versions of Thermo Scientific SampleManager LIMS
• Support the latest Sample Manager versions 21.x (including 21.3) functionality
• Configure SampleManager using embedded platform tools, including Entity Designer, Explorer and configuration of master data, lookup tables and custom fields
• Design, modify and troubleshoot business workflows using SampleManager Visual Workflow Designer
• Configure standard and custom reports using SampleManager reporting tools and dashboards
• Execute data querying, validation and troubleshooting against the SampleManager data model using SQL

Requirements

• 8+ years of overall experience
• Familiarity with L2/L3 application support activities, including incident, problem and change management within ITIL-aligned service models
• Mature hands-on experience with SaaS (Cloud managed by Thermo Scientific) versions of Thermo Scientific SampleManager LIMS, including day-to-day administration and support
• Familiarity with the latest Sample Manager versions 21.x (including 21.3) functionality
• Strong proficiency in SampleManager configuration using embedded platform tools, including Entity Designer, Explorer and configuration of master data, lookup tables and custom fields
• Solid working knowledge of SampleManager Visual Workflow Designer for designing, modifying and troubleshooting business workflows
• Proficiency in SampleManager reporting tools and dashboards, including configuration of standard and custom reports
• Solid SQL skills for data querying, validation and troubleshooting against the SampleManager data model

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with instrument integration in SampleManager, including parsers and chromatography data system (CDS) connectors such as Chromeleon, Empower or OpenLab
• Working knowledge of SampleManager REST and SOAP web services for interpreting integration behavior and supporting interface-related tickets
• Working knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11 requirements for supporting validated LIMS environments
• Practical understanding and application of data integrity principles (ALCOA+) in laboratory data management
• Awareness of the SaaS shared responsibility model, where customizations and platform-level changes are conducted by Thermo Fisher
