Intermediate/Senior Accountant – US Accounting

We are looking for a Intermediate/Senior Accountant with 3–5 years of experience in US Accounting and Taxation to support our US-based clients. The role will focus on month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and tax compliance support while working closely with client stakeholders Key Responsibilities
  • Perform month-end and year-end close activities
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Maintain General Ledger and ensure accurate financial records
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Prepare tax workpapers and support Federal and State tax filings
  • Assist with sales tax compliance and tax-related reconciliations
  • Support audits and provide required documentation
  • Collaborate directly with US clients to resolve accounting and tax-related queries
  • Identify process improvements and maintain compliance with internal controls
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in US Accounting
  • Exposure to US Taxation and tax compliance processes
  • Experience supporting US-based clients
  • Strong understanding of General Ledger, Month-End Close, AP/AR, and Financial Reporting
  • Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Xero
  • Exposure to Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, or 1120S
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS)
