We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Financial Accounting

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare and review Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss schedules, and produce consolidated final accounts in line with IFRS.
  • Prepare and consolidate inputs for the Annual Report and Accounts, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis, providing clear commentary on key movements and drivers.
  • Produce advanced Analytical Review (AR) packs and Group Review Schedules (GRS) for quarterly regional submissions.
  • Deliver GRCA / regulatory / MI reporting, including manual return compilation where required, ensuring adherence to reporting standards and controls.
  • Review and approve journals, ensuring appropriate supporting documentation, correct accounting treatment, and compliance with governance requirements.
  • Apply strong technical accounting and reporting knowledge to support accurate financial reporting and issue resolution.
  • Maintain end-to-end functional ownership across all Balance Sheet and Income Statement line items, including reconciliations, substantiation, and analysis.
  • Manage delivery against KPIs and reporting timelines, operating effectively under tight deadlines and high-pressure reporting cycles.
  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day activities of the in-country team, ensuring clear communication, prioritisation, and timely issue escalation.

To be successful you will:

  • CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA/ICWAI with minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Prior experience in Reporting profiles is a must and exposure in month end close will be preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Site Reporting at Financial Institutions will be a must.
  • Must be detail oriented and possess strong analytical skills
  • Experience in managing small (5 +) teams in specialized functions
  • Good knowledge of FTP/HUB/PSGL/CODA, etc.
  • Previous tenured employment with a Financial Institution will be an advantage
  • Experience of working with colleagues and stakeholders cross-border in a multinational organization
  • Experience of working with processes involving IFRS understanding
  • Added advantage if candidate has base of Maths, Valuation experience, quantitative aptitude.
