As we deliver our ambitious 2030 Growth Strategy, we’re looking for a Country Finance Manager to manage country-level financial operations, ensuring strong governance, compliance and effective business partnering to support profitable growth and operational excellence.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) 2010 - 2015
- Extensive experience in finance & global manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of Indian direct and Indirect taxation frameworks
- Strong understanding of Treasury and working capital management
- Attention to detail, teambuilder, good interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of Risk and compliance frameworks
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage country-level financial operations, ensuring strong governance, compliance with regulatory and Croda standards.
- Manage banking relationships, oversee payments, and ensure effective cash flow management.
- Monitor compliance with funding arrangements, including term loans and financial covenants.
- Drive working capital optimization initiatives to enhance liquidity and operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to UKCR requirements and Croda’s internal control frameworks.
- Support internal, statutory, and tax audits with accurate documentation and coordination.
- Establish and maintain a robust control environment to mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Lead SAP-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and systems.
- Oversee direct and indirect taxation, including return filings, audits, assessments, and litigation matters.
- Coordinate regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Provide financial insights to support pricing strategies and profitability improvement.
- Enable better commercial decision-making through data-driven analysis and benchmarking.
- Collaborate with business teams to drive performance and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure close coordination with government authorities for incentives, regulatory reporting, and compliance matters.
