Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable andcourteous Office Assistant to manage daily hospitality and administrativesupport activities in our Mumbai sourcing office. This role is rooted intraditional office practices in India and plays a key part in ensuring a smoothand welcoming work environment.

The ideal candidate isdetail-oriented, punctual, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized,and functional workspace. This position involves serving refreshments(tea/coffee), handling basic administrative duties, and supporting the teamwith errands and document management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and servetea, coffee, and water to office staff and guests.
  • Maintain cleanlinessof the pantry area and meeting rooms.
  • Ensure officesupplies, groceries, and kitchen items are stocked and well-organized.
  • Handle physicalfiling and organization of documents as directed.
  • Deliver and collectdocuments or parcels from local suppliers, service providers, or courieragencies as required.

Administrativesupport

  • Assist withphotocopying, scanning, binding, and organizing printed materials.
  • Support basicclerical tasks such as envelope preparation, visitor coordination, and smallerrands.
  • Coordinate withfacility services (cleaning, repairs, maintenance) when required.
  • Help set up meetingrooms before and after appointments.
  • Maintain discretionand professionalism at all times, especially when interacting with external guests.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior experience in asimilar role within an office environment preferred.
  • Basic knowledge ofhospitality and office maintenance practices.
  • Ability to speak andunderstand basic English and Hindi; Marathi is a plus.
  • Friendly,service-oriented attitude with good personal hygiene.
  • Punctual,trustworthy, and capable of working independently.
  • Knowledge of localarea for handling simple errands or deliveries.

Work Environment

  • Professional textilesourcing office located in Nariman Point, Mumbai.
  • Regular working hours(Monday to Friday), with occasional extended hours during events or suppliervisits.
  • Comfortable,respectful, and culturally inclusive work setting.
