Your impact

Position Engineer - Piping stress

Work Location: Navi Mumbai

We are looking for a Pipe Stress Engineer to work on Electronics projects and be responsible for performing analysis and design of various piping systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform pipe stress analysis in AutoPIPE
Select pipe supports from standard vendor catalog and/or from internal support database
Design new pipe supports to meet the design requirements (available space, loading, expected travel, etc)
Perform additional calculations such as nozzle loading checks, trunnions checks, weld checks, etc
Create all the pipe stress deliverable
Collaborate with piping designers and structural engineers

Here's what you'll need

Qualification :
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience .
At least 2 years of experience in pipe stress analysis and support design.
Proficient in pipe stress analysis software such as AutoPIPE and Caesar II.
Proficient with finite element analysis (FEA) and associated software such as FE-Pipe and NozzlePro.
Working knowledge with design tools such as Navisworks and AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
Advanced experience with AutoPIPE.
Working knowledge of plastic pipe design and analysis.
