- Build reliable and effective database tables and structures.
- Write optimized SQL queries and maintain legacy systems.
- Write functions & stored procedures in Database
- Maintain data quality and security.
- Strong analytical orientation
- Identify, isolate, and fix database issues and malfunctions.
- Coordinate with developers to improve applications and introduce best practices.
- Analyse and recommend new database products, services, and protocols.
- Ensure database systems run efficiently.
- Creative ability to produce effective solutions to client problems
- Good team player who is enthusiastic about delivering results
- Able to mentor juniors and train end users
- Self-starter with a positive attitude with the ability to collaborate with managers and developers.
- Proficiency in MySQL database design & development.
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions, triggers.
- Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, using performance monitor,
- SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Expertise in different format data importing tools, methods and script
- Good to have skills - PostgreSQL
- Advanced debugging/testing/optimization
- Basic knowledge of Linux & Server Administration
- Knowledge of MVC and OOPS concepts
- Working with a version control system such as Git
