IT Payment Services department, the worldwide reference for payments in the BNP Paribas Group. We are working on the many applications used worldwide using various technologies and working in Agile methodology.
Position Purpose
- This position is for Functional tester with expertise in playwright automation testing for IT systems on Monetique for the BNPP Group.
- The candidate should be able to independently design, build, debug, maintain, and enhance automation solutions while collaborating effectively with QA, development, and business teams.
- This position will be responsible for developing and successfully executing QA test strategies and test plans, and related testing services for IT Monetique.
- This position will also be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation scripts for regression and performance testing for multiple supported systems.
- Testing and identifying bugs or other coding related issues (associated with the code developed by Dev team)
- We are looking for top-notch, energetic talent to keep up with the industry’s momentum and support the QA efforts.
Direct Responsibilities
- Understanding testing principles and practices.
- Ability to plan, design, and execute manual/functional test cases.
- Able to convert the functional test cases into meaningful automation scenarios using playwright.
- Able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams
- Functional Specification Analysis Experience
- Closely work with Dev teams/BA to resolve technical & business issues and to develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives.
- Must have good analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams
- Must be flexible, independent.
- Perform other testing-related duties as required

- Able to integrate in a French-Indian agile extended team
- Experience of 6-8 years in functional testing required with playwright automation framework exposure.
- Programming - Strong hands-on experience in concepts such as OOPs, reusable utilities, exception handling, debugging, and clean code practices.
- UI Automation - Playwright experience with stable locators, waits, Page Object Model, dynamic elements, tables, frames, popups, and end-to-end flow automation.
- Good knowledge and experience of writing complex SQL queries.
- Knowledge of Card Payments / Monetique required.
- BDD/TDD approach knowledge (required)
- Experienced user of ALM/QC, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint
- Proficient in analytical skills (required)
- Excellent oral and writing communication skills (required)
- Experience in working in Agile environment
- Minimum 6 years of experience along with Bachelor's Degree - in IT, Computer related field or equivalent experience.
